Last but not least, Maia! Originally from Alaska, Maia is about to finish her BSc in Global Food Security at @mcgillu. In the fall, she worked with @cynthiakallenba to investigate soil N transformations in response to flooding.

Next: #ClimateSmartScholars, Bangwei Zhang! He's originally from China and is working on his PhD with Dr. Burton at @DalhousieU. He'll use measures of soil N supply to improve nitrogen management in grape and tea production in a changing climate.

Originally from Michigan, Emily joins us via Dr. Tyedmers. She's studying the net life cycle GHG emissions from field crop production in the Maritimes and Quebec, hoping to identify low emission BMPs in organic systems.
