About Rhianne Whittaker

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Rhianne is an undergraduate student in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph. With a few years left before her graduation, she is excited to begin her first research project on the impacts of diverse crop rotations and cover crops on energy budgets. Rhianne has a strong interest in climate change mitigation strategies and is passionate about using interdisciplinary approaches to create solutions. She hopes future work or study will take her abroad to gain global perspectives in the field. Until then, Rhianne is always happy to explore the outdoors at home and take way too many photos of exciting flora and fauna!
