About Chloe Katsademas

Chloe is from London, Ontario and will be going into her final year of an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph. While on campus, Chloe focused her studies on meteorology and environmental chemistry. She was part of UofG’s co-op program, where she worked for over a year in different plant labs for both industry and academic research. Working as a USRA research student, Chloe hopes to blend her love for micrometeorology, nutrient cycling, and plants while studying the impacts of Climate-Smart agricultural practices on GHG emissions. She will complete a project on how crop rotations and cover crops impact the energy balance of a field. She may go on to complete a master’s degree in the field or see where life takes her! She loves venturing down different paths and trying new things. Chloe spends her free time baking desserts, running, and spotting birds in her backyard.
