About Avery Mende-Gibson

Avery Mende-Gibson is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental science at the University of Guelph. She is passionate about earth sciences and has developed an appreciation for the connections between soil, plant life, and the atmosphere. This led her to work in Claudia Wagner-Riddle’s lab, contributing to agricultural and meteorological research. Avery is eager to continue contributing to the environmental science community and embraces all opportunities. Her love for the natural world is reflected in her hobbies of camping, hiking, and travelling.
